Buddy is a contact tool, not a tracker. When someone finds the child and taps the NFC tag or scans the QR code, the finder page shows only the contact options and information chosen by the family.

No battery needed
The NFC tag is passive and works at close range when tapped. The Buddy itself does not need charging.
What Buddy does not do
Buddy does not provide live tracking, monitor a child or replace adult supervision. It helps only when someone finds the Buddy and taps or scans it. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency services.
