Does the finder need the InSyncKids app?<\/summary>

No. A finder uses a compatible phone to tap the NFC tag or scan the QR code. The finder page opens in the web browser.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

Does the NFC Buddy track a child continuously?<\/summary>

No. The NFC Buddy is passive and has no battery. It works only when somebody taps it or scans the QR code. The current product does not track a child.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

Where should the Buddy be attached?<\/summary>

Choose the item the child genuinely carries most often, such as a school bag, nursery backpack, coat zip, PE bag or secure trainer loop.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

Are there bracelets?<\/summary>

No. The current InSyncKids Buddy range uses a snap hook keyring clip. There is no bracelet product.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

How many colours can each Buddy use?<\/summary>

Each Buddy character is designed around a strict maximum of four production colours.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

Can more than one adult be contacted?<\/summary>

The planned parent system supports approved parents, grandparents and trusted carers, with access controlled by the main account holder.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

Can I update the information later?<\/summary>

Yes. The profile information is managed online so an authorised adult can update contact or helpful details without replacing the physical Buddy.<\/p><\/div><\/details>\n

Is the Buddy a substitute for adult supervision?<\/summary>

No. It is an additional way for a finder to contact an approved adult.
